This motherboard with CPU, heat sink and CPU fan was pulled from a system which worked flawlessly until 10 days ago. At that time, the system froze and would not reboot. When I replaced the power supply, the system issued 7 beeps from the motherboard and would not boot. Seven beeps indicates a failure of either the CPU or the motherboard. My guess is the CPU, which was running hot earlier in the day. However, I do not want to troubleshoot anymore. I have moved on to a new system. My loss can be your gain, if you are handy troubleshooting computers.
